I rarely ever send money I don’t have. Hell I have a horrible debt record and it’s not because I don’t pay it back but because it takes a dumb amount of work to keep track of interest and legal agreements. So naturally when I do use my credit I plan everything out with my Spending tracker app. You can just search in the app store and find any random one that will cost you nothing but help plan all those adult spending habits.
In my entire adult life I have never missed a bill, the rent or been late on anything. So I guess it works! So I purchased a switch 2 bundle that came with Donkey Kong, a SD card and a pro controller.
I don’t play video games as much as I used too and I especially don’t play newer games that I would invest in a new console past the switch 1. Yet I did what I did and in the last post I explained why.
What I didn’t explain was the level of adult guilt I felt about buying it. I’M always willing to accept that buying comics and video games that cost less than 20 bucks and some fetch points helps but that is normally my limit on spending.
I also managed to find myself going to see Combichrist at the meadows in Brooklyn, which was an entirely dramatic experience on it’s own but the show was great and I enjoyed myself for what it was. Nothing ever goes as planned but that’s just the nature of the beast.
I discovered a band called Dead Animal Assembly Plant, which made the show worth going too on it’s own with good company and Bonin motion sickness pills that made the trip not entirely miserable. I didn’t get to see combichrist but the 3 bands that played before them cause they didn’t start till 10pm and my silly ass had to be back at port authority by 11pm.
Traveling past the age of 27 requirements are not as easy on me. Some preparations are required and an upset 3 year old daughter seeing her father leave even if it be for 8 hours is always heart breaking. That’s why I don’t do such things. Is..what it is..
