Starting new habits is hard. Ending old habits is probably harder. I’m trying out new ideas at work which I’m finding are working. Logging my own work is allowing me to not only have a better grasp of how I spend my time but it allows me to use everything in a tighter fashion. I can condensed some of my habits and make note of things I didn’t even realize I was doing. Overall it’s helping me work and I think it helps me organize my thoughts.

The challenge of reading one book and finishing one game every two weeks hasn’t gone according to plan. However I am keeping up with it. I never expected to keep within the time frame so much as have a consistent work list to frame everything up by. Video games vary in length so building a constant time frame of only two weeks to finish something that would take two months overall to finish is impossible to do. However if I build a map I can have a better idea on what I want completed and will have some results caught up in the end.

I wanted to catch up on my back log of books and games so this was the most logical way of doing it. Plus it keeps me motivated so that’s always a plus. The other thing noted that the quake 2 tournaments have started.

So far I’m happy with just the first episode. Second coming this week and I’m trying to advertise it up a bit more. Truth be told even if it’s me vs one other I’ll be happy with that. Im doing it as an open door to the community and to keep up with whatever social skills I have.

On a side note it’s Superbowl Sunday and work will probably be busy. Let’s see how this pans out.
