Wake up it’s 3 a.m. change the baby, lay her back down with her mom then go to the bathroom, shower. Put deodorant on, take your old man pills drink a bottle of water. Put your clothes on, brush your teeth, brush your hair, tie it back, put your socks on and now your boots. Grab the backpack and walk to work. Check some emails get to work, clock in and count some money and start the day.

This will happen 3 days a week. 2 days you can stay awake little later because you work later. You do the best you can for as long as you can and you never really feel rested. Some nights end up like this one “tonight” and your brain just rushes with possibility. It’s a great life and I’m the happiest I have ever been and also the terrorfied by possibility.

Slowly everything is starting to catch up. For the last few months I have asked people what has actually changed in your life since last December. Most people say nothing but now people are starting to see it. The price of everything is too high, people are getting crazy and as the heat rises the tensions will come with it.

I expect the worst is coming but we will continue to be smart. We can keep our routine and get past tomorrow.

I have been writing observations for the past 10 years. Having lived a life in which I interact with on a daily basis over 100 people. I have some stories to tell.
