This morning I was looking out my window and I watched a fox run across the frozen lake. According to lore if you see a fox it means you should keep very close attention to your instincts. Personally I don’t know how to shut off my instincts so probably means I need to pay very close attention to something that will happen today. I’m always hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Suddenly I feel like a grilled cheese sandwich but not any grilled cheese but the type my grandmother (Mary) would make me. It had cheese white bread, tomatoes and of course a touch of salt. In the winter it always made me feel warm and relaxed. I don’t think since the day she passed I haven’t gone a single day without thinking of her. She was a big part of my life and was always a positive corner I could lean on. Even today I still feel her presence around me telling me you are doing great Alex. Keep it up.

it’s funny how random some of these posts are and really as the winters go on I find it more and more important to really focus on their thoughts. Time to start another day…
