I think it’s important at times like this to really review what we are doing on the daily. What is truly important and vital to the standards of what a day in this life actually is? Basic things like waking up, showering, eating, planning for the day become little distractions from the outside sources we focus on probably more than we should. Take a look at the room you are in currently perhaps something should change about it? Perhaps a new haircut or a change in decor can become something that will change your entire view or mood.

It might be because I moved so often at a young age but I often find that really detailing my home and changing things around it to be adaptable to what my routine currently is really does change my state of mind. I’m also the type of guy who cleans and organizes the most in my home. I play some music, and just do a dish, clean the bathroom, or whatever. It gives me peace of mind to just shut off for a bit and physically get something done to the point that when it’s finished I feel accomplished by the results I can physically SEE.

It can be frustrating at times of course like anyone. Yet understand what gives me peace of mind helps me refocus on everything that is really important to me. Adjusting my mood helps with my mental place.
